North American Tesla has unexpectedly announced that its controversial Cybertruck pick-up truck will be shown at select events in Europe in the coming weeks as part of the Cyber Odyssey program.

The event, which started last April, will continue to take place at 100 locations in 20 European countries and will end on July 7, 2024. What’s more, the Cybertruck will also head to the Czech Tesla showroom in Prague, where it will stay from June 5 to 8, 2024 .

It will be the static premiere of this car, so it will be possible not only to see it, sit in it and feel its functions, but also to learn more information about the model.

The Tesla Cybertruck will also appear in the Czech Republic, already in June.

Furthermore, we have acceleration from zero to hundred in 2.7 seconds for the fastest Cyberbeast variant, adaptive air suspension, turning the rear axle or controlling the wheels without their physical connection to the steering wheel. On the body of the pick-up, you will then find electrical sockets with which you can power your next electric car or house.

If you’re already cheering and planning to make an advance payment for your order, hold off. The Tesla Cybertruck, manufactured in Austin, North America, is for the time being only intended for the domestic market, and the automaker has not announced a specific start time for deliveries outside of North America. However, you will be able to buy at least some Cybertruck-oriented merchandising on site, if not the car itself.

On the other hand, this advertising campaign may give Tesla valuable data about what real interest is in its Cybertruck and whether it is worth it to homologate the car for Europe, which, given the design of the car, will be neither easy nor cheap. Yes, in Germany, for example, one Cybertruck has already appeared on signs, but it was approved nationally and with a list of exceptions as long as the Yellow Pages.
