Developers from the studio Arrowhead Game announced that the popular event Helldivers 2 will be on PC soon to require the creation of a PlayStation account and its subsequent connection to Steam. The authors originally planned to implement this requirement at release, but due to technical issues, they ended up postponing it. New players will not be able to do without a PlayStation account starting May 6. Existing players will then have to start meeting the new condition from June 4. Instructions for creating a PSN account can be found here. The reason given by the developers was the effort to improve the overall security and more effective fight against cheaters.
The game itself at the same time it will receive new content already on May 9 within the so-called Warbond. The new premium pack is called Polar Patriots and will bring the frost as well as several new weapons and other equipment, which is shown in the demo attached above. Game analyst Mat Piscatella also came up with interesting information in recent days, revealing that Helldivers 2 in the United States became the seventh best-selling game from Sony in history. In addition to the PS5 version, PC players should also have participated significantly in this, which is confirmed by the sales figures from Steam for a long time.
