Uherskohradišťská hospital has completed extensive reconstruction of the garages and modern facilities for the cleaning crew. She financed the investment for less than nineteen million crowns from her own budget.

The reconstruction included the expansion of the entrance gate for ambulances, the construction of new storage areas and the complete modification of the former workshops and warehouses to provide facilities for the cleaning crew.
“The roof was also modified due to the future installation of a photovoltaic power plant,” announced hospital spokeswoman Lucie Sedláčková, adding that construction work had been ongoing since the second half of last year.

“We demolished the existing gate and widened it to allow the new wider ambulances to enter and park. We also built a brick partition, thanks to which we created new storage spaces. In the places of the former workshops, a new construction of the floor was carried out, including the roofing of the assembly pit. When the interior layout was changed, new partitions made of ground brick blocks were demolished and built,” Pavel Lečbych, head of the construction investment department, described the work in detail.

Jitka Štefánková, leader of the cleaning crew, is enthusiastic about the new premises. “Previously, we had to work in makeshift conditions and transition between multiple objects. The new facility is a great asset for us, because we have everything centralized and at hand. The organization of work is thus much easier and more efficient,” praises the manager.
