The first reinforcement is officially confirmed. On Thursday afternoon, the hockey Rams announced the return of the club’s protégé, Patrik Urbanec. The 30-year-old defender last played in Frýdek-Místek.

“After announcing the departures, our A-team also announces the first reinforcement! It is experienced defender and Zlín native Patrik Urbanec, who is returning to Zlín after eight long years,” informed the club on the official website.
Urbanec is the former captain of the Zlín junior team, but in the 2012/2013 season he also played in the A-team, for which he scored 34 matches that year. He also played for the first team in the later championship season.

The experienced quarterback jumped into the 2015/2016 season for the Cobblers, when he scored 171 matches. (6 goals, 30 assists) He successively wore the jersey of Vítkovice, Havířov and Poruba for five years, where he was even captain in the year 2022/2023.
Last season, he scored 49 matches for Frýdek-Místek, thirteen points helped to save the competition.
