Most visitors will certainly be interested in live broadcasts, recording studios and directing. You will be able to view everything. There will be broadcasts on Saturday, May 18 handled by Michaela Vondráčková and Roman Stupka, reports will be prepared by Štěpánka Zýková. Guests on the broadcast will be the head of the JK Tyla Theater musical Lumír Olšovský (11 a.m.) and long-time radio presenter Vladimír Bernášek (2 p.m.).

Other moderators and editors prepared a lot of interesting activities. They will show you the radio work and you will be able to try many things yourself, such as reading the news or digital editing.
We have also prepared a varied program for you outside the broadcasting studio. Several musical performances are waiting for you. Come listen to the SEM TAM trio (10:05 a.m., hall) or the singer-songwriter Víto Kotora (Velké činoherní studio, 12:25 p.m.). We are very happy that we can also invite you to the concert of František Nedvěd Jr. He will play in the Great Drama Studio twice – at 10:30 a.m. and at 11:30 a.m. You can look forward to an aria from Hubička or a sample from the musical Dracula performed by the actors and singers of the JK Tyl Theatre, starting at 1 p.m. Stanislav Jurík and Iva Kokešová will accompany you through the program in the large studio.
You will also meet Mirka Kuntzmannová, who has been preparing radio recipes for many years, or Stanislav Beníšek, a forensic expert in the field of cynology. We are also preparing a meeting with moderators, columnists and reporters, which will be moderated by Vladimír Šťovíček.
Last but not least, we invite you to the Radio Museum, where you will learn about the development of radio, studio, transmission and reporting technology. You will see exhibits that used to be the equipment of our studio and which we managed to preserve. You will then see a transfer truck in front of the building. The latter, on the other hand, has the most modern technology that allows you to broadcast from practically anywhere.
And that’s not all! Come on Saturday, May 18 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m to Czech Radio Plzeň at náměstí Míru 10 and you will definitely not regret it.
