Porcelnka Thun 1794 from Nov Role in the Karlovy Vary region definitively established its pipeline in Klterec nad Oh. The reason was a large decrease in the number of orders in the last year and at the end of this year. Last year, the company reached approximately 394 million crowns, but it is 100 million crowns less than in 2022. The porcelain company lost tens of millions of crowns last year. From April, however, according to general editor Vlastimil Argmann, new orders started to appear again.

“As for sales, the first few months of this year were really bad. Things will pick up a bit in April and May, so it looks like we could get to some kind of normal regime. We had orders for those days in advance, so it was ‘hand to mouth’,” Argmann described the situation at the end of summer. He said that the company is not planning a launch, but whether the trend that has occurred in recent months will continue.

We’ll close and we’ll pick where it’s cheaper. Leaving eska is not taboo even for an average company

In the last year, the porcelain company began to dampen its lead in Klterec nad Oh due to high energy prices and apartment orders. First, the villa, which will stand when the production of the blech steppe stops, but the decoration room, packing room and expedition will remain. These could cover the lack of female workers in the event that the Novorolsk water line or the factory in Lesov is not built. In the end, however, Thun 1794 had to proceed with the destruction of the remaining operations in Klterec. Around 50 to 60 employees drank on the job. Only about five people were employed in the company, namely in the branch in Lesov.

According to Argmann, the current situation in the world does not favor the porcelain trade. Open conflicts and the breakdown of supplier networks greatly complicate sales. In the case of porcelain, it is mainly a product that is unnecessary and its purchase can be postponed.

Porcelnka, which is mainly oriented towards the production of porcelain for the home, wants to move more into the gastronomy segment. I can compete, for example, with the fact that porcelain from Thun is light and therefore easier for restaurant staff to carry. News is also coming in the cafe segment, where he wants to supply porcelain bowls for all types of coffee, from espresso to double lungo.
