After this year’s triumph in the regular part of the Chance League, the Porubský squad is getting even stronger, before the upcoming season it will be expanded by the productive defender Jan Bartko and seasoned forwards Jakub Kotala and Ondřej Roman.

“I am extremely happy that this year we managed to supplement the staff very well. We have ironed out the departures of Antonín Honejsko and Marko Tvrdon – and you can say that we have ironed out the staff,” believes the general manager of the ambitious Ostrava team, Pavel Hinner.

Although Poruba burned out in the playoffs, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals against Jihlava, but they are not planning any significant changes over the summer. Head coach Jiří Režnar remains and most of the roster remains. Only five players left: Jiří Klimíček, Justin Lemcke, Antonín Honejsek, Marek Tvrdon and Jiří Brodek.

“We would like to supplement the team appropriately: with two or three attackers and two or three defenders,” announced Hinner at the end of March. And so it happened – from the first three reinforcements, it is clear that Poruba will once again be among the contenders for promotion to the playoffs.
