The Audi brand is ending the production of two interesting cars this year: the stylish TT sports car and the R8 supersport. Unfortunately, neither model will receive a direct successor yet, but it is possible that it will eventually return with an electric drive. As part of the farewell, however, the automaker has prepared at least limited last editions for customers, which often differ depending on the market.
It was already announced in the past that a select number of the limited edition R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD will be heading to Europe, with a total of 333 units worldwide, while the TT model will say goodbye to Europe with an RS Coupé Iconic edition, which will be produced in a total of 100 units only for the old continent.
Now, however, Audi has also presented a farewell edition of the roadster for the American market, which will be produced in the number of 50 units, bears the simple designation TT Roadster Final Edition and offers a unique style.
At first glance, the car catches the eye with the Goodwood Green pearl green paint, which is a reference to the first generation of the model. The green color is stylishly complemented by silver decors such as side skirts, intake vents in the bumper, forged 20-inch wheels and a bright gray canvas roof referring to the TT Roadster 20th Anniversary model.
The roof can be controlled electrically at speeds of up to 50 km/h and it takes 10 seconds to fold and extend. In the cabin, the light brown Palomino Brown leather upholstery catches the eye, which perfectly matches the exterior and is a reference to the quilted upholstery of the first generation of the TT model.
The car is equipped with an adaptive chassis from the TTS model, which allows you to adjust the ground clearance by up to 10 mm, under its hood is a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, sending 170 kW (231 hp) and 350 Nm of torque to all wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission S tronic .
However, the US is not the only country to receive its own limited farewell edition of the TT model. The car company also chose the same procedure for the farewell with Great Britain and Japan.
