The management of DGPack did not publish last year’s financial results. In 2018, representatives of the Danflex company stated that the company wants to gradually invest 100 million euros (2.46 billion crowns) in Prostějov by 2020, while the factory should employ up to 245 people.

The Russian company Danaflex chose Prostějov because of its favorable geographical location. “DGPack is a significant investment by Danaflex on its way to Europe. With this project, Danaflex will increase its existing export capabilities. The Czech project will make it possible to get closer to European customers and respond more quickly to global trends and requirements of business partners,” said Irena Vaňková from DGPack in 2019.

The Prostějov company DGPack was inaugurated in February 2019. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnichanov and the President of Danaflex Airat Bashirov came to Prostějov at that time. The Russian representatives talked about the fact that the company from Prostejov is an advance field for the export of flexible packaging to the EU.

Danaflex had three production plants in Russia in 2019, and the Prostejov enterprise was its first investment in production outside the borders of the Russian Federation.
