TK of the Ministry of Health on the epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic – video

Prague – ČTK will broadcast live today from 10:00 a.m. the press conference of the Ministry of Health on the epidemiological situation, including the disease covid-19. Deputy Minister of Health Josef Pavlovic, director of the State Health Institute Barbora Macková, chief hygienist of the Czech Republic Pavla Svrčinová and chairman of the National Institute for Pandemic Management and Czech Vaccinology Society ČLS JEP Roman Chlíbek will speak.

On November 7, hygienists reported that respiratory infections increased by 6.7 percent from the previous week, according to hygienists. Doctors reported 1,161 patients per 100,000 inhabitants in the week of October 30, which are not yet the values ​​for declaring an epidemic.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, there has been a significant increase in the number of people who have tested positive for covid-19 in recent weeks. Compared to the first Monday in October, the number of positives on the first Monday in November was almost double. Statistics recorded 1,526 of them. Health workers also tested more people.
