After some time, singer Michal Penk (56) returned to the music stage, even though he thought his music career was over. But it was a successful return, he performed with the orchestra for the first time ever at the Slovanské dům.
Michal Penk has been through everything possible in his life. After his great success, when he even had an affair with another pop star, Iveta Bartošová, things started to go wrong and drugs took their turn, he ended up on the street and his overall appearance changed beyond recognition, he was as thin as a loon and his face was recognizable , that he is very worried. He also dealt with problems with the police and the law and even attempted suicide.
But now all the sorrows are over, Penk has switched to a much healthier lifestyle and even resumed his music career. He was motivated to do so by his son, who told him that he had never seen him sing live and that it was a shame. So Penko realized that he had a unique opportunity to do some concerts.

A few days ago, he performed in the Slovanské Dom in Prague, with an orchestral band, with which he performed for the very first time. He is very close to serious music, he started playing the piano as a child and continued to the conservatory, but did not finish there.
In the course of the concert, an orchestral version of his most famous hit, About Fools, which he composed when he was only fifteen years old, was played.
Among other things, Michal Penk was a friend of the late Iveta Bartošová, but they only spent seven months together. The manager Bartošová was supposed to introduce them,
Penk described the meeting as love at first sight and still remembers it fondly. The reason for their breakup is still unknown, both citing other issues. According to Penek, the reason was his disproportionate jealousy, but Iveta Bartošová stated in her book that he cheated right in front of her eyes.
