On Tuesday, a 31-year-old Škoda Superb driver crashed on the road near Dubá in Českolipska. All that was left of his car was scrap, but the man miraculously escaped almost unharmed. Apart from him, only a can of beer was saved from the wrecked car. Police, firefighters and paramedics were on the scene.
The driver of the Superb crashed into a tree near Dubá in Českolipska. The car is completely destroyed, but according to the police, the man escaped with only bruises. But the firemen had to get him out of the car. “The firemen rescued the driver, for that it was necessary to remove the roof of the vehicle,” spokeswoman for the Liberec fire department, Jaroslava Benešová, told TN.cz.
“Although the vehicle was left ‘for a write-off’ after this impact, the driver, who had to be extricated from it by members of the fire and rescue service, only suffered bruises to the chest,” added police spokeswoman Ivana Baláková, adding that the driver was lucky in the accident.
According to the initial findings of the police, speed is probably to blame for the accident. “The driver went into a skid at excessive speed, which he did not control, and crashed into a tree,” the police said on https://twitter.com/PolicieCZ/status/1719622819498054068?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
Although the man was almost fine, paramedics took him to the hospital by helicopter as a precaution. “Such miracles happen very rarely,” concluded Baláková.
