“During Thursday afternoon, the south to southeast wind will intensify in the eastern half of the territory and its gusts will vary between 55 and 70 km/h, up to around 90 km/h in the mountains. We expect it to intensify further on the night of Friday, and the gusts will intensify to 90 to 100 km/h even in lower locations,” said Honsová.
According to her, this is a wind that can already cause damage and will reduce the feeling temperature in the east by up to 4 °C.
“It will rain on Friday and Sunday, otherwise we can temporarily look forward to partially clear skies. Outcrops of higher air pressure will alternate with transitions of frontal systems,” added the meteorologist.
