KLATOVY – PLZEŇ – Juniorfest, an international film festival for children and young audiences, is heading again to the Pilsen Region from November 3 to 8, and to six cities at the same time – Domažlice, Horšovského Týna, Klatov, Přestice, Dobřan and, traditionally, Pilsen .
The festival will look forward to the young people of Pilsen in three screening halls. After a successful year last year on the grounds of the František Křižík Gymnasium, in the Cinestar multi-cinema in the Olympia Plzeň shopping center, and after a break of several years, it will be possible to watch film screenings in the Měšťanská beseda as well. In the program, viewers will find, for example, a Czech film dedicated to the life of today’s Cool Girl teenagers! As part of the accompanying program, fans will also be able to meet the main protagonists of the mentioned film.
Not only film entertainment fans will enjoy the program. In addition to high-quality films that are not normally available in Czech distribution but are successful in the world, a number of workshops, discussions, accompanying events, meetings with actors and much more are prepared. Game fans from all over the country will be able to play with Kaštánek for attractive prizes.
The Chestnut game can be played on a computer, mobile phone or tablet and is freely available on Google Play or the App Store. Like every year, Juniorfest will honor two personalities for their contribution to children’s cinema. This year, actors Pavel Nový and Jaromír Hanzlík will receive the highest festival award, the Zlata rafička.
