There will be traditional products such as jitrnica, intestines, ovar or black soup. At 2 p.m., there will be a demonstration of butchering a pig, accompanied by an explanation about meat, and visitors will also see the traditional production of breadcrumbs. Experience quite a different atmosphere of autumn in the haunted zoo! What to take with you? A costume (not a requirement), a lantern and a candle for flashlights (for everyone’s safety), a good mood and a desire to be afraid. The grounds of the zoological and botanical garden will be stylishly decorated throughout the weekend. For smaller visitors, there are face painting booths, a competitive haunted trail or an art workshop. An interesting menu awaits the selected animals, who will receive a pumpkin allotment and visitors will be able to watch how they cope with it at designated times.
Techmania Science Center will celebrate its 15th birthday

It has been 15 years since Techmania Science Center was opened. That deserves a big celebration! To mark this jubilee, the entire celebration will be dedicated to phosphorus – the 15th element in the periodic table. Kozolupa soup festival

Each taster buys a map for CZK 50 at the start in the parking lot of the Czech Post Office in Kozolupy and goes for a walk around 16 places with soups located throughout the village. Don’t forget to bring your own spoon! 14:00 – 16:30 delivery of soups at the stands, 16:30 – 16:45 meeting on the field where ballots will be handed in, 17:00 evaluation of soups on the field in the Mexico clubhouse.

Luby’s Halloween Courage Trail

The already traditional Halloween trail of Luby’s courage. Two kilometers full of ghosts and tasks. Entrance fee 70 CZK. In addition to the experience, the children also have a fire starter, tea, a diploma and a badge.

Celebrations in honor of war veterans
05.11.2023 09:55 – Masaryk square, Rokycany
Traditional Veterans’ Day celebrations are planned in Rokycany on Sunday, November 5, when 25 war veterans will arrive in Rokycany. On Sunday, the program will begin at 9 a.m. with the laying of wreaths at the monument on the demarcation line in Borek. After that, the program will move to Masaryk Square. At 9:55 a.m., the parish priest will consecrate the flags and from 10 a.m. a mass is planned in the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, which will be led by parish priest Marek Winiarski. From 11 o’clock there will be a ceremony and laying of wreaths in front of the town hall building.
