The warning applies to parts of the Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian regions. According to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ), there is a risk of reduced visibility, increased river flow and less tree stability in the named regions.
ČHMÚ advises drivers to reduce their driving speed in the rain and to drive very carefully. Furthermore, so that they do not enter flowing water and flooded places. The lowest level of flood activity can also occur due to rising river levels. It is therefore recommended to avoid bathing, swimming, boating and movement in the river bed.
This warning changes the previous one. It cancels the wind warning and adds a heavy rain warning for mountainous areas in the northeast of the territory.
