ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE – They returned the opening loss with interest! In the first match of the season, Brno beat České Budějovice 3:2, so the rematch in the south of Bohemia had an interesting plot. However, Jihostroj confirmed its long-term dominance in the home environment and did not give the visitors a chance. In an excellent atmosphere, the South Bohemians whipped themselves to a great performance and won their second home match again without losing a set. “We played a very good match. In particular, we started well on the serve and the reception and we had a good interlude. In the second set, we let Brno play a bit, but after the seventeenth point we got into it again,” praised captain Eduardo Carísio for the club’s website.
