However, for so many years, the transport of important industrial brands in the Czech Republic has not been underestimated.
The automaker froze the project to build a battery factory after a year of construction. The Republic, where the car industry is the driving force of the economy, saw potentially the largest private investment in its history.
VW planned to spend a total of 120 billion crowns on the construction of a battery factory, which was supposed to move the Czech Republic to a worthy place on the map of advanced hi-tech manufacturers and to link the production of electric cars from the source of raw materials (lithium) to the production of batteries and e-cars themselves.
The government, the Ministries of Industry and Transport, the CzechInvest agency and other institutions have, after a dark meeting, set a reverse pace of preparations, one with the initially obstinate municipalities around the proposed project, as well as with intensive communication with the residents.
