Detectives are investigating a knife attack from tonight
Yesterday around 9:30 in the evening, the police and rescuers went to Planá in the Tachovsk Region, where a dispute between two men was reported on náměstí Svobody, which even ended in a stabbing. After arriving at the scene, the police arrested the thirty-year-old assailant, according to our information, a Pole, who was placed in a police cell, while paramedics took care of a man with stab wounds to the chest and leg.
“A man born in 1997 was transported to the Emergency Department of the Lochotín University Hospital after treatment on the spot,” the press spokeswoman for the rescuers told us, adding that the man was conscious and his life was not in direct danger. According to our information, the injured person is Czech.
The police closed off a large part of the square with tapes, and criminal investigators took over the investigation of the case.
“At 8:30 p.m., a mutual physical attack between two men was reported to the emergency line. Police patrols and the criminal police and investigation team went to the scene. Criminal officers took over the case and started criminal proceedings, they continue to work on the case.” the police spokeswoman told us, adding that the investigation is still in its early stages and it is therefore not possible to provide further information.
