The exact departure of the bus will be revealed by the code, which the passengers will load into their mobile phone

“When you scan the QR code in the upper right corner of the posted timetables, a search engine page with the departures of the nearest public transport connections from the stop where you are standing will be displayed on your mobile, including up-to-date information about delays. From this page, you can switch to other functions of the search engine via the menu. The new QR codes are on pasted timetables from November 2023, you can easily recognize them by the underlined word ‘departures’ to the left of the QR code,” explained Luboš Wejnar, director of Jablonecká dopravni.

Another new feature on the municipal company’s website is a map of current public transport operations. It shows all currently running connections and stops.

“After switching on or clicking on a connection, its route is displayed on the map and detailed with additional information, i.e. the starting and destination stops with the option to click on all stops and times, the current and next stop, the current delay and the time of the last formation from the vehicle. As soon as you click on a stop on the map, you will see a simplified overview of departures from it,” explains Wejnar.

The website with timetables of the Jablonec municipal public transport has been operating since last year. They are adapted for viewing on a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
