Christmas is already knocking on the door, so let’s talk about where we can soak up the Advent mood at the Fifteen.
“The first event that will take place will be on November 30 at Vivo! Hostivař, where trees for elementary schools from Hostivař and Košík will be presented, but so that our schools and kindergartens from Horní Měcholup, which is also part of our district, do not come We have prepared a space for them on Veronské náměstí and we will present them there on December 17,” said Petra Šikýřová (Independent) – deputy mayor of the Municipal Council of Prague 15.
Christmas trees decorated by children from elementary and kindergartens will be here throughout the Advent season.
“We have prepared two Advent evenings, the first one will be on December 3rd, we are doing it in cooperation with Toulcov dvor, where there will be workshops for children and adults,” said Petra Šikýřová (Independent) – deputy mayor of Prague 15 municipal council.
Entertainment on stage will be provided by the puppet theater or Anita Jirovská.
“And we will end the Advent evening at a quarter to six by preparing a procession of lights, so that everyone will be able to get a candle and we will walk around Stará Hostivař,” said Petra Šikýřová (Independent) – deputy mayor of Prague 15 municipal council.
The procession will end at the local church with the lighting of the first Advent candle.
“Then we have one more Advent evening waiting for us, and it will be on December 17 in Veronské náměstí. We have a new tree planted there since last year, which is still growing, so we are very much looking forward to it, we will decorate it again and light it up,” said Petra Šikýřová (Nezavislí ) – deputy mayor of Prague 15 Municipal Council.
Bára Fialová and the vocal group Voices will sing on Veronské náměstí, where the Christmas markets will be held.
