Firefighters went to the fire at 1:15 p.m. A multi-purpose hall is on fire, cattle are kept there, and part of it is a hayloft.
“We took the cattle out. The hall with an area of about 70 by 40 meters is divided into two parts, from one part we export hay and finish it. The metal structure of the hall is already partially collapsed, that’s why we intervene from the outside of the building with four water jets and extinguish the fire with high-altitude equipment,” said Zbyněk Voříšek, spokesman for the Králové Hradec fire brigade.
According to him, the residents of the village are not in danger. The smoke rising from the fire goes outside the built-up part of the village, Voříšek specified.
Firefighters are working with site employees on site. The surrounding buildings were not affected by the fire. There is no danger of the fire spreading to surrounding buildings.
“A pumping station was set up to provide sufficient firefighting water. We bring water to the fire station by shuttle. A few cattle could be moving freely in the vicinity of Prasek, we are cooperating with veterinarians on the spot,” the firefighters said on the X network after 3:00 p.m.
