“Coach Branislav Sokoli and his implementation team were dismissed based on unsatisfactory results and the game shown. He took over before the start of the season, but given our goals, the current results are insufficient for the ambitions we have. Therefore, we have decided to react now,” the club said in a press release on its website. Sports manager Vasil Knor and team leader Roman Kliský also quit together with Sokoli.
The newspaper also asked the former coach for a reaction, but he refused to comment on the situation for the time being, saying that he would provide answers in the next few days. In those, FK Viagem Ústí nad Labem will be temporarily led by youth head coach Miroslav Vlasák together with his team, their short mission will last until Friday’s last autumn match against Most. After him, the club promised to announce a successor, who is reportedly already signed.
According to Deník’s information, it should be a coach who recently worked in another North Bohemian club. He will thus expand the list of names such as Křeček, Jarošík, Jarolím, Hašek, Tesařík, Raszyk or the Sokoli, who have taken turns in the Army coaching chair during the turbulent period of the last few years.
