In the 3rd quarter of 2023, 870.8 thousand people were accommodated in the mass accommodation facilities of the South Moravian Region. guest and spent 1.9 million nights here. Guests spent an average of 2.0 nights in the region and thus made 3.6 million guest nights.
In Q3 2023 used the services of mass accommodation facilities (HUZ) in the South Moravian region 870.8 thousand guest. Compared to the previous 3rd quarter, the number of trips increased by 20.3 thousand, that is by 2.4%. There was a hostel in the South Moravian Region 613.9 thousand house guest (resident) a 256.8 thousand a guest from abroad (non-resident). Less than a third of the total number of visitors was made up of foreign clientele. While the number of resident residents decreased compared to the third quarter of 2022 (a measured decrease of 3.4%), foreigners traveled by 19.4% more. Most of the tourism in the South Moravian region was thus due to the passage of only foreign guests.

Among domestic guests, the number of overnight stays decreased by 4.8%, while among guests from abroad it increased by 20.3%. The average number of overnight stays was 2.2 nights (residents spent 2.5 nights, foreigners spent an average of 1.7 nights in HUZ).
Between foreign clientele was the largest guest in the 3rd quarter of 2023 from Poland (53.4 thousand). In the European Union, they were followed by citizens from Slovakia (49.3 thousand), Germany (25.6 thousand), Lithuania (16.9 thousand) and Austria (13.8 thousand).

IN interregional compared to the 3rd quarter of 2023, the South Moravian region reported the type of most frequented guests and the most famous poet of the penocovna, priority dr hl. city of Prague.
