The commission canceled the weekend preliminaries of the first classes for two reasons

On the second weekend of November, in the Olomouc Regional Football Association, the pre-game of the first spring round of classes I.A and I.B of all groups was to be on the agenda. But the Sports and Technical Commission of KFS Olomouc canceled them.

The same matches as last weekend, only with a change of organization, were supposed to take place on November 11 and 12. But the teams don’t cut revenge.

The STK already decided on this by voting on Monday. “In view of the unplayed I. class matches last weekend and with regard to the weather forecast for the coming weekend, STK cancels the pre-game of the first spring round – the 14th round of the I. A and I. B class competitions. It decided to finish the finals from the past weekend on November 11 and 12, 2023, in the case of unfit playing surfaces, STK will approve a replacement playing surface. The matches of the autumn part of the competition year 2023-4 must be completed by the end of November 2023,” reads the minutes of the Sports and Technical Commission, which it published on November 8.

KP: Medlov semi-champion without loss, Litovel last, two games postponed

This way, for example, there will be no rematch of Class I A, Group A, where the first Olešnica and third Bernarti teams were supposed to play it out. Only playoffs will take place. In I. A class, group B it is a match Kovalovice – Hlubočky and in I. B class, group C it is a duel Řetězárna – Sudkov. Both games are scheduled for Saturday from 2 p.m.

There were already problems with the playing surface last weekend. For example, Nové Sady B was originally supposed to welcome the leader from Velká Bystřice at home, but due to unsuitable terrain, the duel took place in Velká Bystřice, which won 4:2 and thus became the semi-champion of Class I A, Group B.

“I would like to thank everyone from Velká Bystrica that the match could take place at their stadium. The match was still played on a waterlogged field, but it did not affect its quality. Bystřice leads the table with absolute confidence, and we came there to surprise,” said coach Nový Sadů Miroslav Lojka.

“Given the autumn part and our position, we are satisfied with the overall performance in the competition,” added Velké Bystřice coach Ladislav Onofrej.
