The novelty will be officially launched this Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Art-n-Coffee cafe in the passage of the Czech National Bank. Anyone who confirms their participation to the e-mail below can participate.

RNDr. Rudolf Červenka is a book publisher, translator, mathematician and publicist. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University and briefly taught mathematics. In his subsequent programming practice, he dealt with mathematical applications in demography, meteorology, international politics and linguistics, among other things. In 1993, he co-founded the LEDA publishing house, which he has managed ever since. The influence of his father, an active social democrat – before and during the war, the initiator of charity collections for the benefit of Beskydy children from poor families – and his circle of non-conformist acquaintances, which included the poet Petr Bezruč and especially the commander of the Tungsten Airborne Forces, General Rudolf Pernický, were reflected in his life path. . From his mother’s side, the author inherited the stubbornness of the Písmák family of hereditary Beskydy foyts, but kulaks in the 1950s.
