The hockey holiday is coming. As part of the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of HC Děčín’s promotion to II. league, an exhibition match between Děčín and the Czech veteran national team will take place on Friday, November 10. The match itself will start at the Děčín winter stadium at 6 p.m. and will offer several other special moments.
Radek Duda should also appear in the team of hockey veterans.

HC Děčín is celebrating a big jubilee this year – 30 years in II. league. The highlight of the celebration of this important anniversary will be a hockey exhibition, during which local legends, famous pupils or former representatives of the Czech Republic will compete on the Děčín ice. The match will be played for 3×15 minutes.

There will be players such as Pavel Werner, Bohuslav Tenkrát, Milan Stezka, Jaroslav Hašek or the legendary duo “Oliband”. Lukáš Lavinger and Martin Volke will share minutes in goal. Coaches Jan Votruba, Pavel Březina, Josef Zelenka, Radomír Mikeš, Karel Horák, Karel Chládek and Jaromír Carvan will be on the bench.
On the side of the veterans of the Czech Republic, former NHL forward Jiří Tlustý, Russian KHL champion Jakub Petružalek, Michal Trávníček and Angel Krstev, who won gold with the Czech under-20 national team, will appear in the match.
Special match and break program
Before the start of the festive match, the players and coaches who were part of Děčín’s promotion to the second league in the 1992/93 season will be awarded. During the match and during the breaks, the spectators will be able to recall some moments from the history of Děčín hockey. There will also be live inputs in the form of short interviews with hockey players. After the second period, there will also be an intermission competition for great prizes. The winner will take home a watch, an anniversary puck and a retro jersey of our famous pupil Michal Trávníček.

Information about the competition
Before the game, buy a puck for 50 CZK in the vestibule of the winter stadium, after the ice surface has been adjusted, wait for the commentator’s call to throw. Throw the disc from the stands onto the ice surface. The puck owner closest to the center of the faceoff wins.

Tickets for the exhibition match can be purchased in advance at the reception of the winter stadium or at the box office before the match itself.
