Movember party

Movember party – a legendary mustachioed party to support men’s health. From 8 p.m., visitors can expect live music performed by the band Gary Hausbot, a DJ party, a barber show, and above all, they will have the opportunity to support the fight against prostate and testicular cancer. All you have to do is order a special Movember drink or a non-alcoholic Proovan beer from the Proud brewery at the bar. Entry to the Movember party is free.
Martinské trhy – arrival of St. Martin

After a year, the center of Pilsen once again belongs to Martinský trh. They will last until November 11, when at 11 a.m. St. Martin and company. The stalls on the square are full of various goods from ceramics, candles, to toys, and there are also Christmas decorations. We wrote more HERE.
Hannah Pilsen Trail Krkavec

The organizers adhere to the main slogan “I don’t run on asphalt”. Picturesque tracks await fans of healthy movement in nature, as well as performance athletes and top trail riders. They lead on footpaths along both banks of the Berounka river valley, cross the forests around Bolevecké ponds and take the competitors to the top of Krkavec. We wrote more HERE.
St. Martin’s feast

The Bolevec semi-detached house and U Matoušů farm will welcome St. Martin and his retinue on Saturday, November 11. The first district of Pilsen is organizing the St. Martin’s feast here for the third year, which will be marked by young and St. Martin’s wines, good food and live music. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We reported more HERE.
On the roofs of ZČU

Scientists from the NTIS FAV research center have put together an attractive program full of popularizing lectures on artificial intelligence, chatbots, plasma technology and nanomaterials. The faculty also invites you to visit the physics research laboratories and the exhibition of robotic artists. Fun tasks with the robotic dog SPOT from the Pilsen SIT Port and space shows from the Rokycan observatory’s mobile planetarium will be prepared for children.
However, the roof of “FAVka” will not be the only one that can be visited on campus on Saturday morning. As part of the “On the roofs of ZČU” event, the university also invites you to the view from the roof of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which will also always be connected at the specified time with a lecture dedicated to architecture or smart beehives.
Pilsen Cernice lantern parade

This year’s parade starts at 5:30 p.m. (meeting at 5:20 p.m.) from the linden tree near the primary school in Černice (U Školy 7). The path will be marked with lights and will end at Selská návsi. Here, the participants will be treated to a performance by a dance group of children from ZŠ Tyršova. There will be a burrito prepared for the children, which they can take care of by the fireplace. A tasting of St. Martin’s wines will be prepared for the adult part of the participants.
War veterans day memorial meeting

On War Veterans’ Day itself, a classic series of two commemorative gatherings will take place in Pilsen. First at 9:45 a.m. at the monument to Czechoslovak legionnaires in front of the 20th primary school in Brojova Street. After laying the flowers, the participants march with the assistance of the city police to Milady Horáková Square, to Homolka Park. There will be a piet at the war veterans’ monument there at 11 a.m., the moment when the 105th anniversary of the end of the First World War will occur.

Spooky trail through Vochov

Another year of the popular haunted trail is coming up. It starts at Vochov Kindergarten, the path will be marked with lights and will lead through the center of the village. From Vochomůrka to Hospůdka na Hřišti, where rewards will be prepared for child participants for passing the trail, from 6:00 p.m. an entertaining interactive program for children and parents begins here, and of course the opportunity to have enough refreshments.
Saint Martin’s festivities in Klatovy

The 2nd year of St. Martin’s festivities will be held in Klatovy! Compared to last year, this year’s festivities will consist of two parts, the MARKETS and FAIRS. Markets to which St. Martin and will start the sale of St. Martin’s wines, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard of the agricultural school. In the early evening, you can look forward to the feast, which starts at 4:00 p.m. in the hall of the agricultural school (entrance from Žižkova ul.). Entrance 150 CZK on the spot, a glass of wine is included in the price of entry.

You can also go to the Bdeněves Firefighters Open Day, which takes place from 2 p.m. From 5 p.m., there is a disco party in the KD for children in the local hall. From 7 pm in KD RETRO DISCO for adults.
St. Martin’s Ride
11/11/2023 17:30 – Tachovsky castle
Take a lantern-lit walk along the route from Republic Square past the winter stadium, the mill to the castle courtyard. Meeting in the square in front of the Infocentre, where St. Martin will be waiting on horseback, at 5:30 p.m. the procession will set off. A short children’s entertainment program with a small surprise will be prepared for children in the castle courtyard. Bring your own lantern. Event without entry fee.
Lantern parade on St. Martin in Rabi

Rabsk ochrášlováci spolek invites you to a lantern parade ending with a fire show on the occasion of the feast of St. Martin. Meeting with lanterns on the square in Rabí between 17:00 and 17:30, at 17:30 the procession leaves the square. If you arrive earlier, you are cordially invited to the St. Martin’s workshop, which will be open from 3:00 p.m. in the Rabí association building. Beams and lanterns as well as St. Martin’s cloaks for children will be made.
