The International Exorcist Association (IEA) has a new president. Fighters against darkness elected the canon of the Brno chapter Karel Orlita as their leader at the international congress. He has been practicing exorcism for over 15 years.
According to the cirqueb.cz website, the International Association of Exorcists has elected the Brno priest Karel Orlita to its leadership. Its 14th convention, held in Sacrofan near Rome, was attended by 203 exorcist priests and about 100 of their assistants.
The Brno priest replaced Francesco Babonte as chairman of the organization of exorcists, who is the author of several publications trying to help people who have become victims of magicians or engaged in other occult practices.
Orlita was ordained a priest in 1999. He later studied canon law at the Lateran University and became a judicial vicar of the Diocesan Ecclesiastical Court. He has been fighting the devil for over 15 years.
According to the Vatican News website, he even participated in the creation of a manual for performing exorcisms. In the Catholic Church, it can only be practiced by bishops and priests who are directly authorized by the bishop.
