The twelfth annual festival of young wines and roast goose will be held on the embankment on Saturday. Wine from more than twenty Czech and Moravian winemakers will be available to visitors. In addition, those interested can enjoy St. Martin’s goose or other goose specialties, accompanied by classic dulcimer music, as well as swing.
Customers can buy a goose to roast at home right on the day of the festival.

St. Martin’s Day festivities will also take place at the Kubáň farmer’s market in Vršovice.
There, customers will be able to taste goose kaldoun, roasted goose leg with red cabbage and Karlovy Vary dumpling, goose liver and sourdough bread. At the market in Vršovice, people will also be tasting St. Martin’s wines.

The Heřmaňák markets on Řezáčov náměstí in Holešovice will also offer basically the same assortment as the markets in Kubán. There, too, visitors can taste goose caldoun, roast goose and St. Martin’s wines.

On Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague 3, people will taste goose specialties and young wines from Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia accompanied by music from Cimbalovka Vltava Prague. Children will also enjoy themselves there, for which workshops will be prepared in the Prague 3 info center or hobby horsing.
The organizers are enticing that St. Martin himself will also appear on St. George’s Day in the afternoon.
Letenská goose and a basket of St. Martin’s wine

St. Martin’s Day celebrations will also be enjoyed by people in Letná, where the 15th annual Letná goose will take place. Similar to other markets, visitors can enjoy tasting St. Martin’s wines, dulcimer music or workshops for children.
Prague policemen will arrive at the event accompanied by the Staroskladrub horse, which is the oldest originally Czech breed of horse. In the courtyard of the National Agricultural Museum, people will be able to taste St. Martin’s treats from the Association of Cooks and Confectioners. The dulcimer music of the Slovak Circle in Prague will play at the event.
Carlin goose
Sunday, November 12, 2023, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
People will also be able to go on a goose hunt on Sunday, namely at Karlínská náměstí, where an event called Karlínská husa will take place. There, too, people taste young wines and St. Martin’s goose specialties.
There will also be music provided by the Lovesong Orchestra.
