On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the tourist area of ​​Novohradsko – Doudlebsko is preparing the next edition of the Festival of Regional Products for you. In the cultural house in Kaplice, you will meet producers from the popular area, and you will also find an accompanying program and competitions.

“This festival is a showcase of great products that are created throughout the territory of the tourist area and are proof of the skill, entrepreneurship and courage of our residents to start producing their own products despite the competition in the form of mass production. I am convinced that we must support regional producers, at least in the form of similar shows, where they can present the quality of their work to the general public,” said Tereza Procházková, head of domestic tourism.

Between 14:00 and 17:00, more than 20 regional producers will present their products in the chapel cultural house. Among the many stalls there will be handicrafts, art and food products, which can also be proud of the award of certification Really from us. This mark has been awarded by the destination management since 2019 to all entrepreneurs who produce their products and products in the tourist area of ​​Novohradsko-Doudlebsko and who meet other criteria for the award of the mentioned certification.
“Most of these products can be proud of the certificate Really from us, which guarantees that the item or dish was created in our region with a craft tradition, a sustainable way and also with love,” adds Michal Jarolímek, product manager of the Novohradsko – Doudlebsko area.

You can look forward to products and products of regional producers such as liqueurs, jams, honey, bread, homemade pasta, various baked goods, but also handmade jewelry, soaps, ceramics and many others. Visitors will be able to take part, among other things, in a special BEER OPEN competition for the best connoisseur of the products of regional microbreweries.

The festival is a shopping opportunity not only for the general public, but also for operators of restaurant facilities and accommodation facilities, who can establish useful contacts here and perhaps even agree on cooperation in the form of deliveries to their establishments.
