Mass accident, death, injury. Rescuers and firefighters trained in Blanca

According to the prepared tactical exercise scenario, the traffic accident involved a bus, five passenger vehicles, including a vehicle carrying a protective person, and about five dozen injured persons, described the speech of Prague firefighter Daniel Fk.

An exercise took place in the building maintenance of the Blanka tunnel complex at the mouth of Bubeneskho tunnel. Firefighters have been preparing him for several months. The last time they practiced in Blanca was last year, this year they learned the steps of the integrated safety system (IZS).

Firefighters, rescuers and the police participated in the event, practicing joint cooperation and the START week method (estimating and notifying the severity of the injuries and determining the order of transport) in connection with the evacuation of the wounded, but also the ability of the commander. Volunteers from ad students of high schools and members of the IZS unit magically attended the accident. There were about 200 people in total.

During the exercise, the firemen destroyed parts of the bus and the car. Together, the rescuers rescued the passengers from the means of transport, and then removed the consequences of the accident. The whole situation was complicated by a simulated failure of the Pegasus radio link.

The intervention of the IZS units was completed at around 5:00 a.m. and then the Blanka tunnel complex was again accessible, added Daniel Fk.
