Sigma Olomouc football players lost to Slavia 1:3 in the 15th round of FORTUNA:LIGA. They started the game badly and were soon losing because of Wallem’s strike. But Pokorný responded to this. But Tomič dealt a blow to Olomouc in the cabin. After the change of sides, Jureček soon made it 3:1, which Olomouc was unable to react to and dropped out of the top six after the defeat.

Sigma Olomouc coach Václav Jílek, in the absence of stopper Vít Beneš, included the freshest reinforcement Filip Novák in the starting lineup for the first time, who started at left stopper. In addition to long-term injuries, Hanák also missed Jan Fortelný and Lukáš Vraštil. On the other hand, coach Jindřich Trpišovský could not use the services of Matěj Jurásek and Ivan Schranz. Only Mojmír Chytil was left on the bench, who came on the field in the 77th minute and Andrův Stadium welcomed him with applause.

The match did not start well for Sigma. She did turn away a corner in the third minute, but then Ogbu collided with Frozen, both left shaken but play continued. Ševčík crossed from the right side and Wallem didn’t give Digaň a chance with his header from the small area.

In addition, Radim Breite was shown a yellow card for subsequent protests, and even after consulting the video, referee Volek did not whistle for an illegal intervention in the Ogba Zmrzlý duel.

Sigma threatened for the first time in the 12th minute, but Zorvan did not take Chvátala’s pass into the box, he got stuck and his spot-kick from the penalty area went wide. After a quarter of an hour of play, the home team helped themselves with a penalty kick. From the left side, he sent a sharp ball in front of Mandouse Vodháněl and hit the head of the onrushing Jakub Pokorný, who equalized. Vodháněl thus corrected his mistake when he did not watch Wallem for the first goal.

By comparison, Sigma had a good passage for ten minutes, but then Breite and subsequently Zmrzlé was splashed by Provod at the line, Novák’s pass was deflected only to Wallem, whose shot, luckily for Olomouc, was blocked by Pokorný in the corner.

Two minutes before the break, however, Sigma conceded a goal in the locker room. On the left side, no one connected with Provod, who put the ball on the ground in front of the goal. Novák wanted to kick it away, but in the duel he unfortunately hit Jurečka for him, from whom the ball bounced to Tomič and he sent it into the open goal.

Five minutes after the change of sides, substitute van Buren could have increased the lead, but Digaňa reflexively knocked out his foot from the small area. On the other side, Juliš could answer, following Navrátil’s pass to Mandouse, but he was in a fight with Masopust, who pushed him well and the attempt of Sigma’s best scorer lacked punch.

However, in the 56th minute, Jureček was given a lot of space on Olomouc’s left side, he guided the ball and his shot was deflected by Pokorný into the counter movement of Digani and it was 1:3. A moment later, Masopust could have added another goal, who was left alone at the back post, but shot over. Substitute Fiala could have given hope to the home team, but Mandous took his header from Vodháněl’s center for a corner. At the very end of the set-up, Pospíšila Zmrzlý headed wide after a set piece.

The Hanáci did not win in the highest competition for the fourth time in a row and fell out of the top six before the national team break. They are seventh on points but just two points off third place. In addition, the round of 16 of the MOL Cup against Plzeň awaits her at Andrová Stadium on Thursday (3 p.m.).
