SK Sigma Olomouc footballers finished the first half of the regular season of FORTUNA:LIGA with a home match against Slavia Prague. They did not manage to surprise the favorites, they lost by two goals. Which, in view of the other results, means their relegation to seventh place in the ranking.

Already in the 4th minute, Ševčík, a student from Olomouc, crossed into the box from the right side, Wallem got to the ball, whose header was short of goalkeeper Digaňa. And Slavia was leading, Sigma had to catch up. Before the end of the first quarter of an hour, the home team had an opportunity to take a free kick from deep in the field, from which Pokorný made a sharp header at the front post, and it was equalized. Eight minutes before the end of the first act, Jureček made a break, the subsequent shot by Provod went wide. In the 43rd minute, Tomič found his way around the area in front of the goal the best, and he gave the team the lead back. Five minutes after the break, substitute Van Buren got in from the right side, goalkeeper Digaň saved his shot in a jump. On the other side, after hesitation, Juliš escaped, whose shot was intercepted by Mandous. In the 56th minute, Jureček received the ball, shot from the edge of the penalty area, and with the help of Pokorný’s run, he rippled the net behind the goalkeeper Digaňa. Sigma could correct. Vodháněl shot over, Fiala’s dangerous header was neutralized by goalkeeper Mandous with a brilliant save.
