On the last day of January, the first match of the second training camp in Turkey awaited the Sigma football players. In it, the selection of Václav Jílek awaited the team that won the Bulgarian league twelve times in a row and regularly participates in European cups – Ludogorets Razgrad.
Goalkeeper Matúš Macík jumped into Olomouc’s starting line-up from the start. On his second attempt in the ninth minute, however, Macík capitulated when it was not enough for his bomb from the edge of the box. In another nine minutes, the Blue Avalanche equalized. Vodháněl’s corner was extended by Pokorný to Lukáš Juliš, who made no mistake with his head. Encouraged, the Hanáci were chasing a turnover, Chvátalova fired a volley, but missed. Shortly after, Singateh tested Padt with a shot at the near post. However, in the thirty-fourth minute, Kwadwo Duah beat the blue-and-white team with a second goal from Tekpeteye, and the score was 1:2.
After changing sides, Macík was replaced by Stoppen between the sticks, coach Jílek put Zorvan, Pospíšil, Fortelný or Elbel in the field. The latter was able to equalize shortly after arriving on the pitch, but Padt, who was guarding the guests’ sanctuary, was able to deal with his attempt through the center of Kříšťál. His colleague on the other side sweated far more. He brilliantly blocked Nedelev’s free kick and Almeida’s header. Unfortunately, he didn’t keep a clean sheet either. Three minutes before the end of regular time, Rick Jonathan headed to the post and confirmed the victory of the favorite.
Thus, the Hanáci fell for the second time in the preparation, and even for the second time in a row. The last duel before the spring part of the league awaits them on Sunday. Their opponent will be last year’s winner of the second Danish league from Vejle.
