The first weekend of February will be marked by above-average temperatures, but we won’t enjoy much sunshine. It will be cloudy, rainy and should also be windy. Wind gusts should reach up to 70 km/h in lower areas on Sunday, and even up to 90 km/h in the mountains. We will see snow only occasionally in the mountains, but even there we should expect more rain, meteorologists said.

During Saturday morning, it is cloudy over most of the territory, the exception is the Novohradské hory, where it is almost clear. “The weather will be influenced by high pressure over western Europe and low pressure over northwestern Europe. Around it, a relatively warm and brisk wind will flow towards us,” CNN Prima NEWS meteorologist Miloš Dvořák said.
