Sierra Leone Badminton Association President Michael Shamsu Mustapha and Executive Member Allieu Mandaria Kamara arrived for a short three-day visit to the Super Stars Most Badminton Club last week. It was a very important visit, which was part of a trip to Europe where Michael Shamsu Mustapha represents Sierra Leone as a member of the government, specifically the Ministry of Sports, where he acts as the coordinator of sports and peace development in this West African country. At the same time, he is the representative of Sierra Leone in the international organization ISF (International School Sport Federation) and a member of the leadership of the African Badminton Confederation. The visit was related to a project implemented in Sierra Leone by trainers Lukáš Kroc and Veronika Brožkovcová at the end of last year. The aim of the visit was to deepen mutual cooperation and also to prepare the visit of the Minister of Sports. The club already informed the city of Most about this important visit at the beginning of January, which has not yet responded, but the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has already started dealing with this visit. During their short visit, the representatives of Sierra Leone were able to visit the center of Prague with the coaches from Most, a training session at the training center in Karlovy Vary, a training session of the Super Stars Most badminton club in the SportCenter Most sports hall and a badminton tournament in Ústí nad Labem. During the visit, representatives of the Sierra Leone Badminton Association received another eight nets and eight rackets from the collection of the Future Dreams Foundation. A mutual cooperation agreement was signed and Michael Shamsu Mustapha was awarded honorary membership of the Super Stars Most Badminton Club.
