The competition was huge. Students from Ústí nad Labem, Loun, Žatec, Most, Chomutov, Slaného, Litvínov, as well as students from our school SOŠ and SOU, Kladno, náměstí Edvarda Beneš, came to fight for a place on the podium.

The first round of the Olympiad, which took place in the morning, thoroughly tested how the contestants were doing with reading and listening. In the end, the 12 best English students made it to the second round, including our two students Jan Černý (Public Administration – class V3) and Barbora Slabá (Combined Lyceum – class KL1). The contestants had to convince the jury in the second round of the competition about their communication skills and language skills in English.

Vlasic became the indoor sledding champion. Ziegler accepted Muchová’s victory

After the brilliant performance of Barbora Slabá, the jury was in no doubt as to who deserves to stand at the highest level this time. The school management congratulates Barbora Slabá, who placed 1st in the English Olympiad of secondary vocational schools. It is an amazing achievement. Báro, Honzo, we are proud of you!

We thank all the English language teachers for the preparation of the students and Mgr. Gábor, who accompanied the pupils to the Olympics in Loun.
