The transport company of the cities of Most and Litvínov tested a hydrogen-powered bus in normal summer and winter traffic. The car carried passengers last summer and now for a week in early February. According to the company’s management, its operation was trouble-free and the carrier is considering its permanent deployment.

According to experts, the price of a hydrogen bus is around seven hundred thousand euros, i.e. roughly seventeen and a half million crowns. The director of the transport company, Daniel Dunovský, said that the hydrogen bus is quiet and emission-free. The car also received positive reviews from passengers.
The Most and Litvínov transport company is considering the introduction of a hydrogen-powered bus into regular operation
Most was the first city in the Czech Republic to test a hydrogen bus in regular traffic. In December, the transport company put it on line number 17.
According to the management of the transport company, the material that the carrier will submit to the management of both cities is now being processed. The mayor of Most, Marek Hrvol from the ProMost movement, and the mayor of Litvínov, Kamila Bláhová, from the ANO movement, stated that the possible acquisition of a bus will still be discussed.
The Transport Company of the city of Ústí nad Labem is also planning the purchase of hydrogen buses – with a subsidy from the Fair Transformation Fund.
