From April 1, 2024, residents of Vsetín and the municipalities of Ústí and Janová travel for the same price and conditions on all public service buses. There has been a full integration of local public transport with regional transport.

The price for an individual fare in Vsetín is CZK 15, both on buses operated by the Zlín region and on public transport lines. Each ticket is transferable within 45 minutes of issue, with the possibility of transferring between two public transport buses, between two regional buses, between a regional bus and a public transport bus, and between buses and trains, in the entire territory of tariff zone 460, which includes, in addition to Vsetín, also Ústí and Janová. In addition to cash, you can pay on buses with bank cards or credit on the Zetka/ODISka card. The price of an individual fare is CZK 3 more expensive than the original public transport ticket, but the transfer time has been extended. The bearer of the fare subscription is exclusively the Zetka card (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).

Additional discounts are provided by the city of Vsetín. “From April 1, free fares continue to apply for accompanying a stroller with a child under 3 years of age and holders of ZTP and ZTP/P cards. In these cases, however, the free fare applies only to public transport, not to suburban and rail transport,” explains the deputy mayor of Vsetín, Petr Kudlík. “Another exception to the normal IDZK tariffs concerns seniors 70+ with permanent residence in Vsetín. They can still arrange a discounted annual fare worth 400 crowns, which will be valid for zone 460, both in public transport and in suburban and rail transport.” In order to claim the discount, you must first pick up a voucher at the municipal office in Vsetín. The holder of the voucher will then present it at the MHD transport office in the tower block when uploading the tariff to the Zetka card. More info.

Our aim is for all urban transport in the region to gradually join the Integrated Transport system of the Zlín Region. I am therefore glad that within 9 months we have already integrated the second city“, commented Martin Štětkář, director of the Zlín Region Public Transport Coordinator. From July 2023, Uherské Hradiště joined IDZK, and the city of Kroměříž also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the region. This happened on the occasion of the presentation of new MAN hybrid buses.
