Send money for hungry children, you have 5 seconds, they blackmailed a man for an erotic video

It all started with a friend request on Facebook from the profile of Veronika L. The man accepted the request, even though he didn’t know anyone like that. “Immediately, she contacted him via Messenger with the message that she would like to meet him. First she asked him about his hobbies, and then she wrote something about herself. She told him that her interests also include sex,” explained police spokeswoman Eva Michalíková.

Subsequently, a suggestion came from the woman’s side, whether she wanted some entertainment. The man agreed and received a call via Messenger, during which a beautiful long-haired woman aged around 18 appeared on the screen. She started caressing her body and finally dancing.

“After that, a message came to the victim that if he liked it, he should start stroking himself. The man did as the young lady wished, showing her everything via video call. As soon as he fulfilled her request, the girl waved him off and ended the call,” the spokeswoman said, adding that the twist soon came.

The victim subsequently received a message with the text that everything was filmed, including his masturbation. In case he does not comply with the instructions, he will post the video on various servers in America and Europe. The perpetrator threatened to provide the footage to television channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox TV. “Do you want all these people to see this ridiculous video?,” threatened the alleged Veronika L. At the same time, the messages sounded like they came from a translator, they alternated between male and female genders, and there were a number of errors in them.

The perpetrator immediately reassured the man that he was the only person who could delete the video, and demanded 150,000 crowns from him. “I work with a foundation that takes care of hungry children and you can help us,” the blackmailer wrote, among other things. “You only have 5 seconds to answer me,” the threat continued. But the man replied that he would not pay anything and would report everything to the police.

The scammer then lowered the requested amount and, to show he was serious, sent the man nude photos of himself. “However, he did not panic and ended the communication and subsequently reported everything to the police. The as-yet-unidentified perpetrator also sent the video to a close group of friends, who fortunately supported the victim,” Eva Michalíková informed.

After the notification, criminal investigators began to investigate the case on suspicion of committing the crime of extortion.
