Hanami is literally a phenomenon in Japan, with the arrival of spring you will come across pink flowers with the characteristic biting off of the petals almost at every turn. However, the Japanese do not stick to the ground, apart from various decorations you can also find sakura as a flavor in drinks, sweets or even in toothpaste!

The celebrations were originally intended exclusively for nobles, but later they became almost a ritual for ordinary residents as well. Today, tourists from all over the world do not hesitate to go for the beauty of Japanese sakura trees.

Thanks to the fact that pink flowers are popular worldwide, there are several options here in the Czech Republic where you can enjoy hanami in the most authentic form.

“Hanspaulka Park is not one of the most extensive, but its cherry blossoms are first-class and this place has become dear to all of us. That is why we love to return every year and turn the area into a little Japan for one day. This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed a month early, even so however, we are not giving up and we believe that you will enjoy the event together with us,” invited the organizers before the event.
