The closure will mainly concern Strakonická Street. Until June of this year, the right and middle lanes will be closed in the section from the connection of the branch from Modřanská Street to the point where the branch disconnects to Strakonické Street. Traffic on the Barrandovský bridge will be conducted in three temporary lanes in the direction of Smíchov and in three temporary lanes in the direction of Braník and the South Junction.
Until the end of the holidays, i.e. August 31, according to the Technical Communications Administration (TSK), traffic in the direction from the center will be limited in connection with the commissioning of the Lihovar return ramp. The restriction consists in the closure of the right lane before the intersection of Strakonická and Nádražní in the direction from the center, and the left lane will also be closed at the location of the newly created return ramp Lihovar.
The work on the Libeň bridge will last another three years
Another major traffic complication is work on the Libeň bridge. The first stage will last until the end of this year, although the overall construction work is planned until 2027.

“The goal of the reconstruction is not only the repair of the Libeňský bridge over the Vltava river and the arched inundation bridge on Rohanský ostrov, but also the complete construction of all other bridge structures, adjacent roads and the necessary re-laying of utility networks in Libeňský most Street from the Dělnická–Jankovcova intersection in Prague 7 to the Palmovka intersection, Prague 8,” TSK said, adding that part of the reconstruction also includes a complete replacement of the traction line and track top for the tram line in and around Libeňský most Street.

The closure applies to the entrance to Nádražní street along the route Strakonická, Moulíkova, Nádražní.
