On Monday, May 6, shortly after midday, a city police patrol was alerted to an apparently drunk cyclist moving between Dómská and Mlčochova streets in Olomouc, who is supposed to be behaving strangely. She was carrying out a control activity in the given locality when she saw a man matching the description, whose gait was considerably unsteady, in the second of the named streets.

As soon as the person in question saw the patrol of the city police, he got on his bike, ignored calls to stop and, while driving around the official car, hit the left side mirror, which he damaged. Even this did not stop the person in question and he continued to drive. When the patrol tried to stop the man again, he staggered and fell during a circling maneuver.

Even after this, the man tried to get away from the place and did not respond to calls from the patrol. As the person in question was aggressive, did not cooperate (including zero response to legal calls), he was eventually handcuffed and a police patrol of the Czech Republic was called to the scene.

A breath test was performed on the cyclist, which ruled out the presence of alcohol, but the drug test was already positive. The whole incident was eventually taken over by the police for further resolution.
