Panasonic will create hundreds of jobs in Pilsen thanks to the production of heat pumps

The company will take on hundreds of people, and according to ČTK information, there could be up to 2,000 employees when the lines are fully loaded. According to the general manager of Panasonic AVC Networks Czech Radek Vacha, the reconstruction of the entire Pilsen plant, where the production of televisions ended in March this year, is now starting.

“We are now launching a very broad recruitment promo campaign. We need hundreds of employees in the future,” said Vach. He did not give a specific number.

According to the head of the company union, Jan Dvořák, there are now about 350 regular workers and about a hundred agency workers in the factory, who mainly produce heat pumps, so far only their indoor units, and a smaller number of people also blu-ray players and recorders.
