Although Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková have already concluded their pilgrimage in the singles tournament, they still figure in the main doubles competition. The popular duo K+S, who won both the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year, would like to attack at the US Open to complete the career grand slam.

The title from the New York Grand Slam is still missing for the five-time champions of the big four tournaments. In addition, Czech players are also fighting for ranking points in New York in order to ensure participation in the final Tournament of Champions.

But their journey to the dream trophy is still long. On Friday, only the second round awaits them, in which they will play with Ana Bogdanova and Sabrina Santamaria.
