The average gross monthly nominal wage of employees in the Pardubice region in the first half of 2022 increased by K 1,639 to K 34,366 year-on-year and was the second lowest among the regions of the republic in the monitored period. Wages in the region of Meziron grew (by 5.0%) more slowly compared to the average for the entire republic (+5.8%). Real (after taking inflation into account) wages in the region fell by 7.5% (at 6.8% per day in R). In the 2nd quarter of 2022 itself, wages in the Meziron region actually decreased by 10.9%, while the nationwide decrease was by 9.8%.
