This year, the Seniors’ Day event is being held in Olomouc, Brno, Znojmo, Karlovy Vary, Cheb, Hodonín, Pardubice and Slané. The event is intended for all seniors as a thank you for their lifelong services to family and loved ones, and entry is free for all seniors.
Tuesday, September 6 – Olomouc, Flóra Exhibition Center – Pavilion A, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Seniors can look forward to moderated performances and an accompanying program. Among the performers we will see, for example, Bohuš Matuš, Vladimír Hron, Halina Pawlowská or the Greek singing duo Martha & Tena Elefteriada.
Stage programs will then be complemented by performances by local artists in individual cities.
Senior organizations will be presented in the accompanying program and a health education program is also prepared.

This holiday not only offers an official framework for emphasizing the warm relationships of children with their own grandparents, but also represents an opportunity for fulfilling the idea of actively re-engaging the elderly in social events.
