Only the new leadership of Prague will decide on the winners of the new selection process.

One of the largest transport companies in the Czech Republic has started looking for new management. After the announcement of the selection process for the economic director, the Transport Company hl. city of Prague (DPP) audition for all remaining director positions in the company’s top management, including the position of chairman of the board.

This was announced today by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Adam Scheinherr. “It is a clear signal that DPP is starting again, better and with a clean slate. The election is in two weeks. That is why we have started the selection process now, but for the stability of the company it is better if the selection takes place after the elections by those who will form the ruling coalition,Scheinherr said.

According to his words, he wants to take advantage of the situation when the coalition partners are not pushing for the filling of positions. “Specifically, Petr Hlubuček (STAN) and Jiří Pospíšil (TOP09 and SPOLU),Scheinherr named. Hlubuček pushed for the post of economic director Matej Augustín, who is accused in the Dozimer case. “The way to clean up the biggest city society has opened up for us. In the same way, not only in the DPP did we advance the protection of whistleblowers and anti-corruption certification,Scheinherr added.

The announcement took place on the basis of a June resolution of the capital city council, which functions as the company’s general meeting. The newspaper N wrote today that the DPP dismissed three workers who are being prosecuted in the so-called Dosimeter case, as the case of possible suspicion of corruption in the company is called. These are the head of the legal department, Dalibor Kučera, the head of the technical administration of the buildings, Martin Vejsada, and the head of information technology, Luďek Šteffel, company spokesperson Daniel Šabík confirmed to the newspaper.

DPP is the city’s largest company, employing over 11,000 people. Last year, the capital spent about 15.2 billion crowns on it, and this year more than 16.76 billion crowns are allocated in the budget.
