Brad Stratton died: Guitarist from the legendary Circus Praha project

Stratton collaborated, for example, with Mir Žbirka alias Meky on his Blue album or with the singer Anna K. In the 1990s, which he spent in Prague, he founded the bands Snake Eaters and Circus Praha. “He started everything I was involved in for the next twenty years. We released the Fly album with Universal, which Meky Žbirka somehow got his hands on. And because he liked guitars, he invited me to record the Meky album,” stated Stratton’s good friend, guitarist Honza Ponocný, for the Headliner server.

“To this day, musicians tell me how special Circus Prague was for them. We didn’t feel that way at all. They didn’t even want to play us on the radio saying it was in English,” he described. He also stated that during the concerts with Circus Praha, he felt for the first time that he was playing with someone who could be a world star.

He dedicated a memory to his friend on Facebook, where he also shared his older photos. “I’ll see you on the other side, my best friend. I love you,” wrote in English. A number of their mutual acquaintances then expressed sincere condolences to Ponocný.
